Bad Weather Option

Great option for bad weather!

In the event of bad weather, lack of good winter conditions, or perhaps for a less physical day on one of our longer winter courses, one option we offer is a visit to the Ice Factor in Kinlochleven when on the Scottish west coast. This amazing facility offers us the chance to coach you on real ice of all grades, coach you on dry-tooling routes, and use the climbing wall area to look at building belays, rescue techniques and cover many of the skills we will also include when out in the mountains. We can use the ice to look over skills such as placing ice screws and making ice threads for abseiling off.
